Rosenthal Meets Seasonal Demand for Apparel Company

When a well-known branded and private label outerwear company received a make-or-break order from a large big box retailer, the company knew it needed a substantial alternative financing facility in order to take advantage of the opportunity.

 

The Fix


 

Even with the hurdles of acquiring product from overseas suppliers and shipping internationally to the retailer, Rosenthal recognized the potential in the deal and provided a $4 million purchase order financing facility. The supply chain financing requirements involved the purchase of product from several Asian suppliers via letters of credit as well as cash funding for freight, duty and other logistics costs. In addition to addressing the client’s seasonal financing requirements, Rosenthal’s financing facility helped to ensure that the client could pay international suppliers on time and honor critical delivery dates to end retail customers.
